Asian-Thai Surveyor & Adjuster Co., Ltd. was established in 2001 by three loss adjusters who had up until then worked with a number of local and international loss adjuster companies in Bangkok. The company started out with 3 staff and quickly grew to about 17 staff today. The staff comprises 7 loss adjusters and 10 supporting staff and is headed by an experienced team of 3 directors.Mr. Chavengsak Kemhiranchanwong is the Managing Director, who has a bachelor degree in Law from Ramkhamhaeng University. His experience in the insurance field dates back over 30 years. This first started with a position as loss adjuster with American International Group (AIG), followed by Insurance Officer with Hoechst Thai Limited and Operations Manager with Thomas Howell Group (Thailand) loss adjusting firm. In 1993 he took up the position of General Manager at Cunningham International (Thailand) Limited, now known as Cunningham Lindsey (Thailand) Limited, where he was responsible for the day-to-day operations and handling major claims investigation as well as marketing. In mid 1999 he joined P&A Adjustment Co. Ltd. as a General Manager.
A notable detail: Mr. Chavengsak was the first to be officially registered as a loss adjuster in Thailand.
The end of 2011 and the whole of 2012 has been a very busy time for ATSA as the company was entrusted with handling a large number of insurance claims as a result of the flood in late 2011. These claims ranged from small domestic claims to large commercial claims. ATSA is proud of their achievement in completing these claims to the satisfaction of their clients, with some notable compliments received from reinsurers, for example “…. a huge thank you for your very detailed + thorough assessment…….. it has been a pleasure working with you…” – Munich Re.
With having completed most of the flood claims, ATSA is looking forward to focus on servicing their clients further in 2013 and to add growth to both the business volume and staff number.
